Museum Tours
Museum visitation is by guided tour only.
Docent-led tours begin on the hour according to the schedule listed in the sidebar. The art and artifacts in the museum are used to tell the story of the role of Alice Paul and the National Woman's Party in the context of the women's rights movement as well as the history and preservation of the Sewall-Belmont House.
Please allow at least 30 minutes for the tour. Reservations are not required, except for groups of ten or more (see below for more information on group tours).
Admission Fee
A suggested donation of $5 per person directly supports the museum's educational programs and collections.
Accessibility
There is limited handicap access. The tour covers the first and second floors of the museum. There is a flight of stairs to enter the museum from the street.
Group Tours
Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more. A request form must be completed and submitted 2-4 weeks prior to your requested tour date. Click here to download the form.
The museum can accommodate up to 25 visitors at one time. Groups greater than 20 are divided in half to tour the museum. The group tour typically runs 45-60 minutes and consists primarily of a short video on either women's suffrage or the Equal Rights Amendment (or both for longer presentations), a guided tour, and question/answer with the docent. There is a presentation fee to offset museum expenses.
